Answered

I am a Nigerian in ss2 or 11th grade and my school does not have a lot of extra curricular activities and the few we have are not really functioning. What should I do?

Try starting your own club based on your interests/what you think students would be interested in. For example, if you play an instrument, love music, or if your school has a lot of musician students, you could start a community service-based club where you perform music for the school and your local community.

To add on to @kat.in.the.shat, if you have any family responsibilities, talk about that. I wasn't able to do much extracurriculars because I have a job and home responsibilities. In the Addition Information section in the Common App, talk about how your school doesn't have a lot of extracurriculars and circumstances that doesn't allow your school to have them. Also, if the universities still have it, sign up for an interview so that you can thoroughly explain your situation.
