As a freshman, I already know that I want to study Marine Biology. What kind of classes should I take to prepare?
To add onto other answers, you should take the highest level biology and chemistry classes you can. It would be good to take other STEM classes too, since many of the core requirements of a Marine Biology major involve STEM. Physics, math, engineering, and science classes would all be beneficial to you. At the same time, make sure to take a few humanities classes to be well rounded. Hope this helps!
I am also a freshman! I personally think that you should focus on taking bio in school and doing well in that class. If your school offers it, you should take AP bio!
froghat put it well, biology classes. Along with those, Ag classes, they'll give a lot of insight into the study of life. If you're 100% sure you're going to go for marine biology, Ag classes and Bio classes.
Hello,
I believe you should try biology classes. If your high school offers animal biology classes, it is in your best interest to take it. You should also take good math classes that go along with that. Good luck, and keep on top of your school work.
