Swarthmore admit rates hit record 6.95% low from 7.79% last year.
Just out, Swarthmore college announced that the Class of 2026 cohorts are comprised of a lucky 1021 that were selected from a large pool of 14700 applicants.
Last year, they admitted 1014 from 13012.
93% were ranked in their top 10% of their HS
35% were applicants from community service groups like Questbridge, Matriculate, Thrive, Misongi, Open Dreams, LEDA, Hispanic Scholarship Fund etc.
11% were Int'l students enrolled abroad in HS.
According to their press release they expect to enroll 420 so their yield rate is 41%.
