Answered

I received a letter about the Congress of Future Medical Leaders, but I'm not sure if I should enroll because it seems like it will be really expensive, and I don't know if something like that would look good on a resume or impress college admissions. pls help me

As someone who went to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders, it was a great experience and it's a certification that I put on my resume. I'm not sure how it affects college decisions but hopefully it helps, we'll see.

Pay to play programs aren't worth it because they're so expensive. The programs aren't competitive at all and almost anybody can pay to be in it. Due to this, the program won't impress colleges at all. If you do it, kudos to you, you now have some experience. However, I recommend not to go unless you get a scholarship from it because it won't impress colleges or look that good on a resume. I think it would be considered a Tier 3 extracurricular. Find something else to impress them.
