NYLF National Security
Answered

I just got a letter for NYLF National Security and cannot tell if it was sent by a teacher or if it is a marketing campaign. It could be one of my teachers since it is something he could do and I am taking a class related to National Defense and Diplomacy. I am so confused if I should do this and if one of my teachers has actually sent it. Any advice helps.

You most likely got the letter because of a marketing campaign. NYLF is a legitimate organization that provides real educational programs, but what you should keep in mind is that it is a distinctly for-profit program. Since profit is its main goal, the program has no admission criteria and sends out marketing materials that make the program sound more prestigious than it is. Attending the program will not provide you with a significant admissions boost, but it can be a useful way to explore whether careers in national defense and diplomacy are right for you. Hope this helps!
