Self study of AP Music Theory
Answered

Hello,

Can anyone recommend resources for self-study of AP Music Theory (specifically the composition/part writing)? I'll be a senior next year. I am in a nontraditional educational format that makes it more difficult to 'officially' take AP classes, so I've been doing dual enrollment to make up for that and to get transfer for some of the more common AP's; however, this is not one I can take as a dual enrollment course.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I recommend taking a look at this CollegeVine guide to the AP Music Theory exam. The blog post breaks down the sections of the exam and has links to self-study resources. Hope this helps!
