I am a junior in high school and already have my classes set for my senior year next year. I want to build up my activities and college courses but don't know what to do. I'm trying to do more to possibly get closer chances of getting into the University of Washington.
This CollegeVine blog post has advice for you on how to choose extracurriculars. This other post lists over 900 examples of activities you can do.
When it comes to choosing classes, I would say that you should choose the most rigorous courses your school offers. If APs are the most rigorous courses, take 4 or 5. If honors classes are the most ambitious offerings, take a full load of honors classes. Choose classes which relate to your major interest too, and take a look at this article for more advice. Hope this helps!
