Summer internships/programs for film/literature/creative writing

Hi. I’m a high schooler who has great grades, and good test scores. But I’m looking to spend my summer effectively.

I was wondering if anyone knew about summer internships/programs for film/literature/creative writing taking place specifically after July 12th (so it could be any time throughout late July and August.)

I specifically would like any high-profile extracurriculars as I want to stand out on the college application. I love Amherst, Swarthmore and Williams but can’t seem to find any programs of theirs. So if you could find any others, that would be really helpful!

Thanks!

hi!

unfortunately, there are only a few days left to apply, but this summer I'm going to the school of the new york times summer academy in NYC! you get to choose your course when you apply, and there's film writing and creative writing, along with many others. they have four sessions that take place throughout the summer, and i'm doing session three, which is early to mid July. it sounds like the type of program that appeals to you, and is going to be super fun as well.

good luck!
