Ap Scores

Do you have to submit an AP score? Can colleges see what you get on an AP test?

Yes, you have to order an AP score for any college to see your AP score. If you do not order an AP score and pay the fee to CollegeBoard to send the AP score to that particular college, they will not see your AP score.

There is a "chinese wall" (sorry for the figure of speech) between CollegeBoard and the 4300 colleges. Colleges can not access CB test scores unless you have written them down on your Common App to see or if you send an official score report to them via CollegeBoard.

Hope that answers your question.
