Research Opportunities
Answered

I really want to do research in the biomedical sciences. I have emailed two professors so far and have received no responses, but I am not going to give up. I just feel like I lack any qualifications that would make me useful to a lab. Should I build like data science projects or apps (I have some ideas) and make a resume/portfolio website? Will that give me better chances of being accepted into a lab? I just want to know what I should be focusing on now.

I would suggest building your resume before you email another professor. Best of luck!

I highly recommend building a portfolio with Wakelet. I have found it very easy to use. You can easily add projects/examples, add a title, description then you’re set!
