Hello!

Do universities consider an EC from grade 4: I stood 1st in my entire city in International English Olympiad (IEO) in grade 4. Is that a remarkable achievement and is it worth mentioning as one of my 10 achievements in the CommonApp Essay?

It differs from college to college, but I think that that is such a stand-out accomplishment that I would put in on your CommonApp. I would assume that most would include it in their holistic admissions even if it is from long ago.

I dont think that an admissions department would care about a one time award when you were 9. What else have you done since then? I wouldnt bet on something from elementary school being your shining achievement that gets you into college.
