yess!! writing about your passion is a great idea because it shows admissions like who you are as a person and it’s something personal and important to you.

Yes, I would actually say it would benefit your application. I am a freshman at highschool and am trying out for a team in my area. It has varsity, junior varsity, and junior varsity development and you can rise through the ranks. I would actually say you should write about it and all the experiences/ accomplishments you have achieved in the sport.

Yes, personally I think you can learn a lot about a person on how they describe something they are passionate about.

first, you can learn how they treat something they deeply care about

second, you can see how well they can handle struggles, we all know everything come with difficulties.

Third, what they do to improve themselves.

Hey!

I would recommend doing so if you are extremely passionate about it and don't just think of it as a hobby. Also if you have learned skills important in life such as confidence or something then definelty write about it.

Having something that you are passionate and consistent about is something that colleges are looking for in their students.
