Admissions Advice

Should I submit an additional resume on the common app?

I was looking through the common app, and the 150 character limit on activities seems pretty short. There’s also only room for 5 awards. I was a significant circuit debater in public forum and won a lot of national awards I won’t have room for on the common app, ex: quarterfinals (top 8) at Harvard, Berkeley, Emory, each of which had 200+ nationally diverse competitors and I feel like are significant enough to include.

Should I add these additional awards and attach a resume to my common app, or will it be frowned upon? (I’ll limit it to maybe 1000 additional characters.)

Here’s my college list for reference:

UT Austin

A&M

GWU

Wake Forest

Emory

USC

Georgetown

UMich

UPenn

UChicago

Brown

Yale

Thanks in advance :p

Of course, you should submit an additional resume if it makes sense for you to do so.
