Why did my SAT score go down?
Answered

My brother took the SAT Essentials course from the Princeton Review in the summer between junior and senior year. It helped boost his sat score by 90 points. I’m an incoming sophomore with no experience in SAT. Unfortunately my score keeps dropping. In the beginning of the course I got a 1310, and I just got a 1280. I’m super disappointed in myself right now. Why is my sat score going down?

Hey @amber.l,

Especially since you're a sophomore I don't think you should worry too much. That score range is pretty good for a sophomore. Also, every SAT test is different, some may be purposely harder than others when it was made and at the end of the day the tests you have taken are for practice. Don't be disappointed in yourself. You have plenty of time to get the score you desire. Make sure to continue doing practice tests to familiarize yourself with the tests and go over every wrong answer you may have. Good luck!
