On the CommonApp NYU application, you are asked if you want to send test scores to be considered since they’re test optional. When I selected “yes,” I got a drop-down menu with several options, only two applying to me: “SAT Reasoning Test” and “Three AP Examinations.” I thought this would just mean SAT or ACT, but since I can also use my AP scores, I wanted to confirm whether my SAT score would still be best. I got a 1470 but plan on retaking it, and my top 3 notable AP scores are a 5 on AP Music Theory, a 4 on AP Lang, and a 4 on APUSH. Which one will make me a better candidate? Feel free to ask questions such as about my major, application round, etc!
Do you have to pick only 1? or can you submit both SAT and 3 APs also?
I would pick the SAT (your future higher score), over the APs.
Good luck.

Do you have to settle on just one option? or are the SAT and three Advanced Placement tests also acceptable?
Over the APs, I would recommend taking the SAT because it will give you a higher score in the long run. https://geometry-dash.onl/
