I've 5aken the ACT twice already, but I still can't get the score I want. I got 22 after countless hours of studying. I do great with my schoolwork and excell in my academics, but I can't for the life of raise my score up. I really want to raise it up but I have no idea how at this point.
Have you considered taking the SAT instead? Most people are better at one or the other, and it might be beneficial to take the SAT just to see how you do, or at least do the practice tests on Khan Academy. Hope this helps! :)
Hi @SillyLlama,
Thanks for your question. When you mean countless hours of studying do you mean 25 hours or 250 hours? If you mean 250 hours, then it's time to do something drastic and different because your test-taking ability is not clicking in.
Think of a Rubik's cube. If someone gives you this puzzle to solve, you can spend countless hours on it with no solution. But if someone tells you how to solve it, you can do it yourself in a couple of minutes.
In order to get a high ACT score, you have to master taking the test.
I highly recommend that you take an online course like supertutortv best ACT test prep.
Good luck.
