AP Environmental Science vs Physics in Senior year: Applying for CS major
Answered

Hello,

I'm a Senior, and I have a choice between AP Environmental Science vs Regular Physics.

(AP Physics/AP Chem is not available for me)

I'm also looking to apply for CS as my major in College.

I already have AP CSP and AP CS A finished.

But for science it's a choice between AP Environmental Science vs Physics.

I am leaning toward AP Environmental Science since it is an AP and also I talked to my teacher who said that Physics is not hard and is just using basic Algebra 1 level math.

I already did Algebra 2/Trig in 11th grade.

Please advise, is AP Environmental Science a better choice vs Physics?

Thanks

AP Environmental Science would be the better choice. Since both classes are STEM subjects that do not directly relate to your CS major, it would be best to take the more rigorous AP. Hope this helps!
