What’s a good unweighted and weighted GPA I should aim for right now I. Have a 4.5 weighted and a 3.8 unweighted. If I wanted to attend a top school like Purdue with 20-40 percent acceptance rate what’s a good gpa for those top tier schools.I took 2 Ap sophomore year and I’m taking 3 this year and the rest have all been honors

That gpa is very solid for Purdue. The average for Purdue students is a 3.69 unweighted. As long as you are taking all honors and all available AP courses, the admissions officer will notice the rigor of each class and value your application accordingly. Keep up your gpa and with strong essays / SAT or ACT scores, you have a good chance at a top 25 school.

@OliviaN Since Ap classes are on a 5.0 scale at my school at least will colleges care if I get a B in it since it counts as an A on the unweighted GPA scale.

That I am not too sure about that and would reach out to your school's counselor and ask them if they know.
