How can I optimize my chances of getting into the University of Washington
Answered

I am going to be a senior this year and I know I could have definitely done more in the first 2 years of high school, like taking honers classes up until this Coming year where I will be taking two AP classes in my senior year ,but during my Junior year I did try to do my best to be more active in my school like I become the Spanish club treasurer I also joined sports like tennis and got my gpa to a 3.5 by the end of my junior year but I still feel like I don’t have a good chance of getting into my first pick university which is the university of Washington what should I do to optimize my chances in my senior year

Here are some things you can do to optimize your chances:

- Expand your EC list by adding Tier 1 and 2 activities and doing activities that relate to your spike

- Write stellar essays like these

- Ask your teachers and mentors well in advance if they will write a recommendation for you. Provide them with a brief outline or resume to guide their writing.

Hope this helps!
