Do colleges in Canada look at Unweighted or weighted GPA? Same thing with USA colleges

I was wondering whether colleges in Canada look at Unweighted GPA or Weighted, I am from USA and was thinking about college in Canada. I was also wondering how to calculate my GPA because in my high school honors and AP classes are weighted on a 5.0 scale and regular classes are weighted on a 4.0 scale, so basically it gives you a GPA boost. And after i did my calculations my GPA turned out to be a 3.9 but I don't know if it weighted or unweighted because i added the weight of the honors and AP classes I took.

Colleges in the US and Canada will consider both types of GPA. Unweighted GPA is more important because it is a more exact metric, and it is easier to convert than weighted GPA.

To convert your GPA, try out CollegeVine's GPA calculator. Hope this helps!
