Do they only look at grades/standardized test scores, or do they look at essays/extracurriculars? I think most schools only look at academic rigor/grades but I'm not sure
ZERO schools with admit rate of less than 25% only look at grades/test scores. Maybe 50 years ago it was like that. These days colleges like NE with a 7% admit rate have so many applicants with perfect GPAs and near-perfect test scores that they can fill their quota 2 to 3 times. So the only way you can get into EA is if you have something remarkable to share. You need great ECs, recommendations, and essays.
