Advice on how to grow small business
Answered

Hey, I started a free online tutoring business over the summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted to help students out and do my part to be an active change in my community.

Though it has been about a month since starting this, I have not been able to get anyone to tutor.

Can you guys please give me some tips on how to grow the business and how to be reasonable enough to put on my college apps?

Thanks!

For your business to be successful, you must promote your services to students. The more students know about you, the better. Usually, students tend to look for tutors a few weeks before exams, so you need to run the most advertising at that time. Promoting tutoring services is not that expensive. Marketing is a very important element in every company. Our company works with https://belkins.io/appointment-setting , as it is the best company specializing in lead generation,

Try to advertise on social media- establish credibility and make sure that people know what your goals/passions are. Once you get a few people to tutor, ask them to write testimonials.

You can try advertising your tutoring service on your social media and through your personal connections (family, friends...). Also advertise by posting about your amazing service on volunteering sites (such as AllForGood, Volunteer Match, etc). I have also seen students posting on their school's social media (Facebook, Instagram) about such opportunities.

Try looking to register with a organization. Just look up online tutor sign up.
