I have submitted my common app and the CSS profile to my intended university. However, I accidentally selected No, when asked if I'd like to apply for need-based financial aid. Is there any way to change the answer to this question? Should I directly email the admission office?
You should contact admissions and tell them what you're trying to fix. And not like what the other user said "if the college hasn't downloaded your application, you would be fine." because you're not fine in that case because any changes to your application after you submit won't be reflected on applications you've already submitted. So unless you tell them, they won't know your thoughts.
Hey there @Jai123456
In my opinion, as long as the college hasn't downloaded your application, you should be fine. Even if they have downloaded it, I'm pretty sure an email to the admissions committee would work, describing how you accidentally selected 'No' on the FinAid question and would like to change it back to 'Yes.'
Have a great day!
Directly telling about this to the admission officer will be a better option. They'll guide you better what to do.
