HONORS,AP/IB CLASSES
Answered

Hi!!!

I'm at the moment a junior but in a couple of weeks I'll be a senior. My problem is that my school doesn't offer any IB/AP or HONORS classes, will that affect on my college app?? I'm really concerned about it. Please someone clear this out for me?.

Thanks!

I think what colleges want to know is whether you've challenged yourself with the resources available to you. If you didn't take any AP/IB/honors because your school offers none, colleges generally won't count that against you. But if you're still really concerned, you can also self-study a few AP courses and take the exam (which is what my friend did). That'll be a great way to show colleges that you're beyond ready, but it's not absolutely necessary. Hope this helps :)

I believe there's a section where you can say that your school doesn't have those kinds of classes, and they are pretty understanding about that.

Hello!

Unfortunately, if your school doesn't offer any HONORS or IB/AP classes, that will affect your college app. But, you could look for online courses or online schools that do offer HONORS or IB/AP
