May I suggest dual enrollment? I am not sure of where you live and your current situation but online dual enrollment would be a great option if there is no local college near by. You can get college level classes, work towards your degree early and for free, while building up your GPA and resume in the process. Dual enrollment counts for high school and college classes without paying the college fees. I am doing this and I hope to graduate with 2 degrees by my senior year. However be warned, if you do not think you cannot keep up in the classes than I would advise against it. These classes are weighted, more than Honors, and will hit your high school GPA hard if you fail. But if you can place and keep up, go for it. The benefits stretch far beyond a GPA.

Colleges will evaluate the strength of your coursework based on what was available to you. So, if there were no AP and honors classes, they won't count that against you. Just try to take the most challenging classes available to you, and do your best!
