I took earth science honors in my freshman year but now I'm in regular chem

I was in earth science honors but now in sophmore year I am in regular chem which is still advanced but it is not honors chem, will this hurt my chances of getting into a top school like an ivy league? If I am in regular chem this year I could go to ap or regular physics next year.

I don't think this will hurt your chances! As long as you pass with good marks, I'm sure you will be fine. If science/STEM is something you are going to major in, I would suggest taking more AP or honors classes in the future. I would also consider taking a couple of courses at a local community college related to your field of interest. But since you are already in the class, don't sweat it! Just make sure you stay on top of your work and receive a good final grade :)
