Does being white Hispanic (from Spain) help my admissions chances?Answered
I know that being Hispanic can boost your admissions chances sometimes (obviously race alone would not guarantee admission, but I am pretty sure that there are less Hispanic applicants than applicants of other races, so your chance could possibly go up).

Technically being from Spain is considered European White so you are still bucketed into the white category. I think that being Hispanic is noted when you apply but it doesn’t really change your chances at all since you are considered White not Latinx.
So typically it goes Asian Whites Native Hispanic Latinx black. If you are international it would provide a minimal boost if ou are a domestic applicant likely larger as they dont know of which descent ou are.
So I did a bit of research as a white male at Michigan I have 12% admissions chance with the exact same profile I changed ethnicity to black and I got 80%. So while you likely get a boost how large it is depends on school location and other factors.
