Is the National Student Poet program prestigious?Answered
I am submitting to the Scholastic Competitions in hopes of getting to apply to the National Student Poet program. Furthermore, I was wondering how prestigious the program is and whether colleges hold it in high regard. I will apply regardless, but I still want to know.

The National Student Poet program is very prestigious - participating is a national achievement, and the program is well-regarded because it is supported by the US government. Colleges will see it as a Tier 1 or 2 activity. Hope this helps!
