Should I list my online school participation as an extracurricular?
Answered

I'm a high school junior and I'm currently enrolled in an accredited online school, but the thing is do I put this activity as an extracurricular or can I summit the transcript from the online school and add that as an academic achievements along with my high school transcript?

Hi @dionysus!

Under the Education section of the Common App, there is an option to put courses from another high school that you've attended. Since it's an accredited online school, you can put the courses in the education section. This will free up space in your extracurricular activities for something else. If it was non-accredited, you would've had to put the online courses as extracurriculars.

Hope this helps!
