My Part/Their Part

Hi, I've applied to a school already but I feel like they will look at my transcript and not really know why it looks the way it does. Covid severely affected my freshman, sophomore and junior years of high school, to the point where I'm missing things on my transcript. I've been working really hard as a senior now, but is there anything else I can do?

Hi @oliflo!

If you used Common App, you should've come across a section specifically dedicated to the impacts of community disruptions such as COVID-19 in your life. If you haven't submitted your other applications yet, this is your chance! Use the 250-word space and, if necessary, the 650-word additional info section to explain your circumstances. The only things the admissions officers know about you are the things that you've mentioned on your application. They won't figure out why your transcript is incomplete unless you inform them.

Hope this helps!
