A bunch of college courses but low gpa
Answered

I will graduate with over 25 college courses and about 20 honors courses completed. My gpa is a 3.1 but I still have time to boost that as I am a junior taking only college classes. Do I still have chances at a prestigious college with these grades and a outstanding essay?

Hi @Jk1289!

First of all, is 3.1 your unweighted or your weighted GPA?

Many other factors contribute in addition to grades and essays. Since the rigor of your high school coursework is exceptional, your chances are higher.

Also considered your extracurricular activities, community service, standardized test scores, and letters of recommendation.

Try to get that GPA up, but if you can't make sure to explain your grades and make it up in every other category.

Hope I helped!!
