Hey Guys it's me a again. I know this question could have been a Google search but I keep on getting various different answers. Can an international Student fill out fasfa? If not what if you're applying to a school that doesn't taken CSS or iSFAA. Another question- one of my parent is deceased and the other isn't employed currently how do I translate that in my CSS application because its so difficult for me because all I'm seeing is the requirement of different figures

99% of International Students do not qualify for US Federal Government Aid so they would not fill out the FAFSA form. However if you are a refugee or have been granted asylum status you might qualify. Here is a link to a document that describes in detail who qualifies to fill out the FAFSA.

I don't know the answer to the 2nd question. You would have to contact that college's financial aid office and find out what forms they want you to complete to be considered for financial aid.

If you only have 1 parent living, then you only include the living parent on your CSS profile.

Good luck.
