HELP WITH YYGS APPLICATION
Answered

So I am applying to yygs and everything is fine BUT for some reason, my recommender and my school official are not receiving a Yale email with instructions to, for example, write a recommendation letter. Help me please the deadline is really really close. Am I doing something wrong? I tried getting in contact with YYGS but they aren't answering.

Hi @isaa.vj!

It sounds like something didn't go through on their end, in which case they should be open to an extension. I would double check to make sure you've followed all the steps correctly and see if there's a phone number you can reach them by.

Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @isaa.vj!

Verify that you've completed the Recommendations page in your YYGS application. After that, a link should be sent for submission of the online YYGS Recommendation form. If you've completed the Recommendations page, inform your recommender to check their spam folder (I don't know why it would end up there, but it's always a good idea to check.)

Since you've been trying to get in contact with YYGS and they aren't answering, there's not much that you can do about it. I hope they consider giving you a deadline extension in case they respond late (Yes, it's possible).

Hope this helps!
