Common App
Answered

I am signing up the common app and I reached the part about household. The problem is I do not know whether parent 2 is dead or alive since he had been out of my life for years. Should I put in his information or leave it blank?

You may select "I have limited information about this parent" to describe any parent that you do not wish to give information about. Selecting this option will make questions for this parent not required.
