Waitlisted from UNC-Chapel Hill OOS. Should I send a LOCI?

I was waitlisted from UNC-Chapel Hill OOS last Friday. Would a thoughtful letter of continued interest help increase my chances of getting off the waitlist? If so, under which category should I upload the document in my application portal?
