Low GPA
Answered

I am a sophomore, If I have a low GPA, can I make that up with powerful extracurriculars related to my possible major? Also could you suggest some extracurriculars that could make up for a low GPA

This depends on what a "low" gpa is considered. I think anything generally above a 2.0 is decent. Also, colleges look at your Junior year grades and gpa overall, so you don't need to really worry about now. If you really want to bring it up though, I would suggest taking AP and IB courses, as they are weighted higher than regular courses.

I was in the same position as you! What I found helps was to take the EASIEST classes possible in your junior year and don't try to do something outside your comfort zone. if you still have a low GPA, I suggest tutoring. It's really helpful. As for the extracurriculars, Volunteering really looks good, as well as community work or schoolwide helping.

Hope this helps :)
