End of jr year
Answered

So, my jr year has ended and my 2nd semester I ended up with a 3.7 gpa and weighted 4.57 gpa in advanced IB classes. Looking at my cumulative gpa is a 3.5 and 3.9 weighted. Will my Jr year gpa make more of an impression when applying to top universities or not ( I am a coxswain in rowing, theatre and have 100 hrs of community service). Any advice would greatly be appreciated. I have to start applying in August.

Thanks

I'm a bit confused with the wording of this, but I assume you're asking if colleges are looking at your junior year gpa. The answer is yes and no. They are seeing the grades you got your junior year, yes, but they are not going to see seperate gpas from every year, like a 4.0 freshman year, 3.4 sophomore year, 3.7 junior year, etc. They will see how well you did in your junior year classes, and your commitment to working on your gpa, but they will not see the gpa in particular. i hope that helps!!
