Activities Section Common App

So I play football and I pretty much am involved it for most of the year. Some weeks I don't do as much with football and some weeks I do more with football. So should I just calculate the rough estimate of hours and divide that by the number of weeks I spend playing football or involvement with it?

Yes! That is exactly what I do for all of my activities that vary week-by-week.

Yes. I would add up all of the hours you played football (games, practice, etc.) during one year, and then divide it by the number of weeks the season was (including weeks that were just practice and no games).
