So I screwed up my sophmore year first semester… I took math over the summer to accelerate 8th and 9th grade, I audited my 8th because I got a C, but got an A and and B for my 9th grade summer. In 9th grade I got A’s and 3 B’s and my gpa is a 3.7. But this year, I took challenging courses and my grades dropped, I got 3 C and 1 D and 3 B’s. Then second semester I did worse and got the same grades except 2 C’s 2 D’s and 3 B’s but I also had problems like my father was hospitalized for days and my grandpa passing because of Covid and that really affected me. So in the summer after 10th grade I took regular Al grants 2 and got A’s both semester now I have about a 3.0 Nyu sterns count my sophmore year grades as a outlier if I take the most rigorous classes and get A’s on them? I’m also low income and first generation. Will I still be able to get into Nyu Sterns undergrad? I’m also planning to apply ED and trying to figure out when the application starts for the highschool summer program for next year.(if anyone finds out let me know)
On their official website, NYU Stern write that they do not have a minimum GPA, and enrollment is very selective, and all candidates are carefully considered as part of a comprehensive process. Contributing factors include academic achievement, standardized test scores, achievement beyond the classroom, recommendations, and essays. NYU Stern actively seeks out students with diverse backgrounds, interests, talents, and goals, as well as those who are socially, ethnically, and economically diverse. But also on the site they write that the average score of undergraduate students is 3.51 out of 4.0. Perhaps if you can interest in the interview, you will have a chance.

My counsler told me by the end of senior year I’ll have about a 3.5, but that’s the end of Senior year and I’ll be applying ED wouldn’t my transcript only count the first semester of senior year?
