Am I competitive for Ivys and T20s? What can I do to improve my chances? My top school is MIT.
While you're violating the third rule of CollegeVine's community guidelines, i.e. "3. Don’t ask “chance-me” questions. Use CollegeVine’s chancing instead!", I'll answer this in brief. Use CollegeVine's chancing (fill your profile) to see how you pair up. If the average acceptance rate of a particular university is say... 3% and you're 4%+, I'd say you're fairly competitive. If you want to improve, just make sure you add a lot of tier 1 and tier 2 ECs, (the closer to 1a the better). More APs (if your school offers more), etc.
Hi @ClaraStickney, Collegevine is not REDDIT, you can't ask any Chance me Questions on this blog site. I highly suggest you fill out a detailed Collegevine Profile and run it against your college list to see how well you are prepared. CV's chancing engine is very good compared to other free chancing calculators.
Good luck.
