How to pick major when it doesn't show on the Common App?
Answered

For some colleges on the Common App, I cannot pick my major because the college doesn't have it on their list of intended majors. I want to take Pre-Med/Pre-Health (which I understand is a track, not a major) yet only some colleges allow me to specify that. Below I put a list of these colleges and whether they allowed me to put Pre-Med/Pre-Health as my major -

Hofstra University (Yes)

SUNY Binghamton University (Yes)

SUNY College at Geneseo (No)

SUNY Oneonta (No)

SUNY Stony Brook (No)

SUNY University at Buffalo (Doesn't ask me for major)

SUNY University at Albany (No)

I've checked and each of these colleges do offer either Pre-Med or Pre-Health. How do I indicate to these colleges that I'd like to take Pre-Med at these colleges?

1) choose Osteopathic medicine - is a "whole person" approach to medicine—treating the entire person rather than just the symptoms. Ig that is close enough for the SUNY College at Geneseo

2) Health Science for Stony Brook

I couldn't find anything similar for the other ones. I would put undeclared if you can, then explain later what you want to pursue. Or just pick something similar.
