Does anybody know if these universities have exceptions to their high school foreign language requirement?

Basically the title, I haven't taken any language classes in high school yet but did in middle school. I'm also already fluent in another language (Japanese) because I studied outside of school, and I plan on taking the AP Exam this year. Some universities don't have the requirement or accept middle school/AP for credit, but the ones below I couldn't find too much information.

- Purdue University

- Ohio State University

- University of Illinois (UC)

- North Carolina State University

- University of Texas (Austin)

If anybody knows about exceptions these universities might have or can point me in the right direction to find answers, that would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I'm not sure about those colleges, but I do go to a smaller university in Ohio for CCP. It's a pretty small public college, but it does have placement tests so you can test out of some classes at the very least. I'd recommend emailing someone at each of the schools, but I think it is very likely that they'd have that as well. Good luck in finding your answer! ☺️
