Affirmative Action Ban

I think this question is a bit late, but would colleges accept students with lower academics and purposely rule out some of the better ones to have more diversity?

Not on the basis of race. Diversity is not their endgame. The goal is to make college more accessible to marginalized low-income first-generation students who are deserving of a leg up. Not to accept students for the sake of representation which is a side-effect.

So if you are an upper-middle-class Black or Brown person, you are going to be negatively impacted by the rollback of AA. Less so if you are a Black or Brown person from a low-income zip code.
