One failed class on my transcript...
Answered

Hello, I am a sophomore in high school and I've had concerns voiced by my family about colleges accepting me due to my failing in math I in my freshmen year. I have intentions of attending a credit recovery class for math in the summer. Overall, I was wondering if this one F will affect my chances of getting into SDSU. Thank you!

It's great that you're proactively addressing your academic challenges by planning to attend a credit recovery class for math during the summer. Colleges do consider your academic performance, including any past grades or failures, as part of their admissions process. Colleges often look at the overall trend in your grades. If you show improvement in your sophomore and junior years, it can demonstrate that you've learned from your past challenges.
