Can I apply to MIT as a freshman, even though I'm currently enrolled in another university?

I'm currently a Digital Media student at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, can I have a chance apply into MIT, I would apply for Art and Design at MIT. Does MIT accept student who had already enrolled in another university in my country.

You can apply as a transfer applicant to MIT. Currently, it is extremely difficult to apply as a transfer student with a 1.4% acceptance rate. It's doubtful that you can apply as a first-time freshman since you are technically already a college student with X number of college credits and a transcript in tow. If you have completed more than 2 years, you may not be eligible because MIT has minimum residency requirements.

Good luck.
