Yes and no. While your GPA is important to schools it is not the only thing they will be looking at/taking into consideration. If you have something to off balance your GPA like a high SAT score or ACT then don't worry too much about your GPA. But then again it also varies for many colleges. Some will have GPA requirements so I suggest looking into the schools you want to go to and see if they have a required GPA or whats the average GPA people apply with (and get in).
