I know that colleges will recognize that my school (IGCSE curriculum) does not offer honors or AP and will evaluate my application respectively, but I want to know my realistic chancing for colleges since CollegeVine does not take in account the Honors classes offered at my school; only AP classes. So I'm afraid the chancing algorithm will think that I chose not to take honors classes even though I had no opportunity at all.
Yeah it's that when I go to a college's page CollegeVine says: "1 AP + 0 Honors + 0 CC classes = Below average coursework." It doesn't seem like it looks into my IGCSEs
our school follows the british system so we dont have GPA, but i converted it to GPA using my A level and O level grades. I have heard that 1 A level is equivalent to 2.5AP , so i converted 4A levels to 10APs on collegevine. Im not in the US so i'm not sure if the IGCSE is equivalent to Honors classes. If you do know about this, just put it as Honors.
To keep this community safe and supportive:
did you do the A levels? I think you can add IGCSEs for the chancing simulator. correct me if im wrong.
