For some context, I took physics sophomore year and I got a 65 because I was at the lowest point of my life at that time and dealing with a family member’s death. I want to major in chemical engineering but I know that physics is a core component of the major so will taking a online physics course help me in my application process and somehow make up for this bad grade? I understand it won’t fully make up for it, so any tips for my situation? Thanks everyone!
I think if you have the opportunity you should do it, and you can include the information in your additional info section of the common app. And I wouldn't fret too much about it if there is a clear upward trend in your grades over the following years. Best of luck!
