Im taking a really hard class that is not even weighted. I might get a D ( If i didn't out right fail the class that is) this semester and I already have a B from last year. I REALLY want to get into a UC school. Im super afraid that I may not get in these schools. For context this class is AA2 (algebra 2 accelerated(Algebra 2 +Pre-calc)). The teacher is... not the best (even the counselors agree but cant do anything about it). Anyways its too late to drop the class ( I mean i can but the finals in like 3 weeks...). I really want to get into UC Irvine or UCLA. (I know its a wild dream). I plan on taking about 11 AP's by the end of high school -

I KNOW THIS IS SO LOONG! IM super sorry!!!! But i need HELPPP so pleasee help me im literally having a melt down over this!!! (Indian parents...).
This really depends on which UC school you are applying to. Some might see the D as something more negative, while others won't care too much. Overall, one D won't kill you if you have more strengths in other parts of your college applications.
