Admissions Advice

Which tier should I put this activity in? More information in the description.
Answered

Hello, I'm a junior in high school, and last summer, I got a request from an organization asking if they could publish my artwork (it won the gold prize in the US and second place internationally in 2021, which was before high school) in textbooks in Korea. Although I cannot put the fact that I won the competition on my resumé, I want to include it in my EC that my work was published in the textbooks. However, I'm unsure which tier this belongs to in the CollegeVine app. I would appreciate the help to identify this. Thank you very much.

I personally would put it under visual arts 2a or 2b (mattering the range of the competition and/or the popularity of the text book). I also would explain in the description that it was done through winning a contest as well if I were you because that would make the accomplishment look even better!
